Saturday 21st September at Shoreham Health Centre 9.00-12.00
Saturday 28th September at Downsway, Southwick 9.00-12.00
Saturday 5th October at Shoreham Health Centre 9.00-12.00
We recommend that patients book an appointment. We will however accommodate patients that arrive without an appointment as well as we can. Appointments have indicative time slots and are not with specific clinicians. The purpose of appointments is to improve efficiency of the clinics and reduce waiting time.
Patients are eligible for a flu jab if they are in one or more of the following groups:
|Diabetes||Chronic Heart Disease||Chronic lung disease|
|Serious Kidney disease||Chronic Neurological disease||Serious liver disease|
|Asthma requiring regular treatment||Overweight with BMI >40||Aged 2 or 3 on 1/9/19|
|Aged 65 or over on 31/3/20||You are a carer for an elderly or disabled person|
Where possible we will also be offering Pneumococcal and Shingles Vaccinations to eligible patients. Most patients only require these vaccinations once. Patients are eligible for Pneumococcal vaccination from age 65 years and for Shingles vaccination between 70 and 79 years.
We will try to keep our waiting time to a minimum however, if you have a disability that affects your ability to wait in a queue please make yourself aware to our staff so that we can cater for your needs.
Separate clinics will be arranged for children between 2-17 years old as the recommended nasal spray vaccine for this age group will not be available until October.
We are delighted to offer this service to our patients and are eager to vaccinate as many eligible patients as possible. We were one of six practices in the Coastal West Sussex CCG to achieve the national targets for flu vaccination last year and are keen to repeat this again this year.
