The members of the Patient Participation Groups of Church View Surgery and Adur Medical Group have started to come together to explore how they can best support Harbour View Healthcare to communicate effectively with its almost 15,000 patients. This is an important undertaking and they would like to enlist the support and encouragement of as many of their fellow patients as possible.
One way is to give us specific feedback. This is an exciting and challenging time for the GPs, nurses and staff at Harbour View Healthcare. We have been planning this merger for many months and are aiming for a seamless transition to the new system. However if anything does not go smoothly initially, we do want to hear from you; what you think and especially your ideas and suggestions as to how we might improve will be carefully considered. Our feedback form is ideally suited for this.
Another way of canvassing the views and feedback of our patients is to set up a virtual patient representation group so that you can have your say. We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.
We aim to gather around a hundred patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.
